According to the latest data released by Ookla’s speedtest.net, an American company that studies and analyzes broadband and mobile internet issues globally, Nepal ranks 82nd among countries in the world in terms of fixed broadband internet speed.

In the list of 182 countries, Australia, India, Egypt, South Africa, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkey and other countries are behind Nepal. According to the list, the average speed of fixed broadband internet in Nepal is 55.57 Mbps. While Australia has 53.88 and India has 53.42 Mbps.According to the report, the average download speed of fixed broadband Internet in the world is 82.56 Mbps, while the upload speed is 36.80 Mbps.

Nepal ranks 127th in terms of mobile internet speed

Nepal, which is lagging behind the big countries of the world in the field of fixed broadband internet, is far behind in the field of mobile internet. According to the index, Nepal is ranked 127 out of 143 countries.
Nepal’s mobile internet speed is 13.96 Mbps. In terms of mobile internet speed, all South Asian countries are ahead of Nepal, while most of the countries behind Nepal are from the African continent.

UAE at number one
The UAE ranks fourth in the category of broadband internet speed and ranks first in the world in terms of mobile internet speed.
In this list, China is 12th, Australia 14th, Singapore 20th, America 22nd, Hong Kong 42nd and India 53rd.
