For a while now, there’s been talk about a more affordable version of the Nothing Phone 2. Recently, Nothing officially announced the Nothing Phone 2a, set to launch in March. They’ve just unveiled its design too.

Nothing took to social media to showcase the design of the Nothing Phone 2a. They used various methods, like a London billboard and augmented reality, to give us a glimpse. Although we only see the back, where there’s a horizontal dual-camera setup, it’s quite revealing.

The social media posts only show the white version of the Nothing Phone 2a. However, it’s likely there will be a black or dark gray version as well. The launch date is set for March 5, 2024, as stated on the Nothing website.

The starting price for the Nothing Phone 2a is expected to be below €400, which is significantly lower than the previous model. There might be two configurations available: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage or 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. The phone will feature the mid-range Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset from MediaTek.

Next week, we’ll finally get all the details about the Nothing Phone 2a. Stay tuned as we uncover more about this budget-friendly smartphone. However, it’s worth noting that it’ll face tough competition, as seen in our best budget phone list.
