According to a report from Bloomberg, the upcoming series of the Apple Watch will feature three additional health sensors capable of alerting wearers to signs of prediabetes, increasing blood pressure, and identifying sleep disruptions indicative of hypertension or sleep apnea.

The specific method by which the Apple Watch Series 10 will detect blood pressure remains unclear, but Forbes has speculated that it may utilize near-infrared spectroscopy to analyze blood flow changes using near-infrared light. While this technology may not provide precise medical measurements, it can identify significant fluctuations, prompting individuals to seek medical attention when necessary.

This potential addition to the Apple Watch could be a significant development for health monitoring and early warning systems.
