Samsung is expanding its Galaxy AI feature suite beyond high-end smartphones. According to a recent report, the Galaxy A55 and A35 will be the first mid-range models to receive Galaxy AI as part of the One UI 6.1.1 update. While the exact release date isn’t specified, it is expected to roll out “this month or the next.”
However, not all Galaxy AI features will be available on these mid-range devices. It’s likely that Samsung will exclude features requiring significant processing power, as the A55 and A35 have limited hardware capabilities. It’s also unclear if these will be the only A-series models to receive Galaxy AI or just the first. Samsung may be limiting the release to drive sales of its newer handsets.
