Tesla’s latest update 2024.32 overview
Tesla recently released update 2024.32, introducing new features aimed at improving the driving experience. While still being tested by employees, these updates are expected to reach consumers soon. The new features focus on enhancing navigation and providing timely notifications, with some region-specific functions.
construction on your route
One of the standout features in this update is the ability to display construction zones directly on your route if you have Premium Connectivity and Online Routing enabled. This gives drivers a clearer view of areas to avoid or better understand the chosen route.
predictive text for navigation searches
Navigation now includes predictive text, making it easier to complete searches quickly. Although it requires a strong internet connection, this feature doesn’t need Premium Connectivity to work.
search this area functionality
Tesla has added a “Search this Area” feature similar to Google Maps. If you drag the map to a different location, you can now search for specific places in that area, improving navigation accuracy and convenience.
mobile app notifications for tire service
The update also includes mobile app notifications for tire service reminders. Users can set mileage-based reminders for tire rotations, and the Tesla app will notify them when it’s time. This feature requires app version 4.35 or later.
when can you expect the update?
Currently, update 2024.32 is in the testing phase with Tesla employees. It’s expected to roll out to consumers soon, but as usual, the update will be gradual. FSD subscribers may have to wait longer as the FSD branch typically lags behind the main code branch.
